If Huckabee carries a few states on Super Tuesday, he can parlay that into a Texas victory. With California being a non-winner-take-all state, and McCain and Romney splitting the other SW, NW, and NE states, Huckabee could end up with the largest delegate count.
It would be great to see the only conservative candidate in the race, Mike Huckabee, get the nomination.
Mike has the fiscal, social, and national defense ideas and record to rally the base.

And as much as a like and admire Mike Huckabee, there is no way he can win in the general election against either Democratic nominee. He would serve his country best as the V.P. candidate with the only Republican strong enough to beat either Hillary or Obama - Senator John McCain.
If Christians can rally behind a Christian (i.e., Mike Huckabee). Mike can get the nominee and beat both Hillary or Obama easily.
The problem is that a large part of so called Christians are deceived by either so called conservatives (who put conservatism ahead their God likes Rush) or Mormon (not really Christian).
I get really frustrated with the whole ignore Huckabee rhetoric. Everything he has been saying is what we Republicans have looked for. How do we know he can't win the General? Do we always believe polls? Are you willing to sell out the party to McCain because of polls? Fair Tax, 2nd amendment, right to life, spending, defense, on and on. Vote your choice not the Vegas line... Huck in 08
The Republican Party is going to need to learn to work with Mike Huckabee. Whether as the Nominee (posssible, with a decent Super Tuesday showing in the South and Texas, as outlined), or as a VP candidate, or as a convention powerbroker in 08 and candidate in 12 or 16, Huckabee is THE face of youth and energy for the GOP. The party ignores him at their own peril!
When this race started Mike Huckabee was polling at 2% or less.
I think we just need to continue supporting our principles and our candidate. I believe that Mike Huckabee is the best candidate in this race, and nothing I've seen has changed my mind.
I'm sorry to bust your bubble but there is no way Huckabee could win the general. 0% chance. Heck, Romney would only have a 10% chance _at best_. For numerous reasons. This election will come down to voting either for or against the Clintons.
God is still in control and He has a huge sense of humor. I'm sure is watching all the experts in the media and has a big surprise for the GOP and Whitehouse this year.

Have you people been paying any attention? Remember when the media pundits were telling us that Giuliani was inevitable so just roll over and accept it? The only inevitable candidate is the one that we surrender to!!!
Huckabee came out of nowhere in November to surge to 1st in many polls, almost over night. Right now he is positioned to surge ahead of Romney and then McCain.
